Who we are

Penmark Befektetési és Tanácsadó Kft. (Penmark Kft., company registration number 01-09-458104, registered seat 1024 Budapest, Fény utca 15. 4. em. 50. ajtó, Hungary) is the controller of the personal data described here. For questions or requests, write to hello@penmark.hu.

This notice covers penmark.hu and the enquiries you send us, through the brief form on the site or by email.

Visiting the site

penmark.hu sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

Like any website, it is delivered by a server that sees technical data about each request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes this data on our behalf to deliver the site and keep it secure, and keeps it only for a limited period. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Enquiries

When you send the brief form, your details go to Netlify, which hosts the site. Netlify stores the submission in our account, checks it for spam with Akismet, and emails it to us. You can also write to us directly.

Either way, we process the details you include: typically your name, company, work email address, sector and a description of your plans. We use them only to reply to you, to assess your enquiry and, if you wish, to discuss an engagement. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in handling business correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)).

We keep enquiries, including form submissions stored with Netlify, for up to two years after our last exchange. If it leads to an engagement, we keep it for as long as the engagement and our legal obligations require.

Who sees your data

Enquiries are read by Penmark’s partners. Two service providers process data on our behalf, under their data processing terms: Microsoft, whose Microsoft 365 service hosts our email, and Netlify, Inc., which hosts the website and receives form submissions. Netlify uses Akismet to filter spam.

Some of their processing may take place outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Both companies are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your personal data and for its correction, deletion or restriction. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest and, where it applies, ask for your data in a portable format. Write to hello@penmark.hu; we reply within one month.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Hungarian data protection authority: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11; postal address 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.; ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; naih.hu. You can also take the matter to court.
